Rosie and Elio - A Lovely Traditional Wedding

At Elio and Rosie’s wedding reception, Elio told the story of how he charmed his way not only into Rosie’s heart, but into her job as well!

It all began a few years ago, when he spoke to a woman with a beautiful voice over the phone regarding an open position at her company.  The next week he went in for an interview and immediately fell for the girl whose beauty matched the voice he couldn’t stop thinking about.  He soon learned Rosie would be the one he would be replacing, but knew he had to find a way to keep her in his life.  As Elio put it he was “friend zoned” by Rosie for many months.  But Elio knew deep in his heart Rosie was the only girl for him.  After countless valiant efforts to win Rosie’s affection, she finally accepted his offer to take her out.

A few years later, on a sunny spring day, they began their journey together through life as husband and wife.  Looking back on it now, they both laugh at how when Elio applied for the job, he never expected to not only end up with a job, but a wife!

They surely seemed like the happiest people in the world on their wedding day.  I wish them the best!

Dan and Karolina - A Santa Monica Engagement Session

I had a really great day photographing Dan and Karolina at Tongva Park in Santa Monica.  I loved learning about them and hearing about how they became a couple.

They met in the one place you wouldn’t expect to meet someone these days, in real life!

Dan and Karolina had always been in each other’s periphery growing up in a small town in Connecticut, but their paths crossed again at just the right moment. Fate ultimately led to them seeing each other, and then finally on the amazing adventure of moving together from east coast to west coast.

I think the California sun looks pretty good on them. Congrats on your engagement Dan and Karolina! Wishing you many sunny California days ahead :)

Megan and Dave - a Delightful Southern Wedding

As my plane landed in Charleston, South Carolina, I could tell that I had arrived at very special place. Rivers branched out like the veins of the earth, and a layer of verdant vegetation spread out as far as the eye could see.

In the beginning I was taken aback by the stunning beauty of the southern landscape.  And, in the end, what really took my breath away was the close knit connections of friends and family that Megan and Dave had brought together to this unforgettable place and time in South Carolina.

The Magnolia Plantation could not have been a more perfect location of Megan and Dave’s wedding.  I’m unsure if two people could fit into the relaxed charm and effortless beauty of the plantation any better than they.

It was truly an honor to be invited to photograph them on their amazingly special day. Congrats Megan and Dave!

Please enjoy the photos and don’t miss the photo booth video!
